Le Burkina Faso connaît actuellement l'une des crises les plus préoccupantes au monde, à laquelle vient s’ajouter la pandémie du COVID-19. En avril 2020, le pays comptait plus de 848 000 personnes déplacées internes, dont 84 % de femmes et d’enfants. Par ailleurs, 2,2 millions de personnes ont besoin d'aide humanitaire. Les femmes se retrouvent au cœur de cette crise et des tensions qui traversent la société burkinabé. Cette étude s’attache à décrire l’impact du conflit sur les femmes et s’intéresse au rôle de ces dernières dans le développement de la cohésion sociale et la construction de la paix.

Burkina Faso is currently experiencing one of the most worrying crises in the world, compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic. As of April 2020, the country had more than 848,000 internally displaced people, 84% of whom were women and children. In addition, 2.2 million people are in need of humanitarian aid. Women find themselves at the heart of this crisis and the tensions that run through Burkinabé society. This study sets out to describe the impact of conflict on women and focuses on the role of women in the development of social cohesion and the building of peace.
