Laura is the Youth Engagement Advisor at Oxfam GB, where she is leading on the development of a Youth Engagement Strategy. Working in collaboration with UK and International programme staff and young people globally, Laura is developing tools and resources to support and embed youth-led and co-creation approaches within Oxfam GB programmes, particularly relating to Economic Justice, Gender Justice and ICTs. Laura also works closely with Oxfam's Youth as Active Citizens network, a cross-affiliate initiative working strategically to share learning and innovation on youth programming
across the confederation.
Prior to this, Laura worked with Restless Development, an agency for youth-led development, managing their global youth programmes. Laura also previously worked at Girlguiding, developing non-formal education programmes with girls and young women (ages 4-25 years). Laura has an MA in Gender, Globalisation and Human Rights and specialises in youth and gender, with a focus on youth engagement and youth-led programme design approaches.
