Jemma Stringer

Gender Justice Officer


Office Location: Oxford, UK

Jemma is responsible for learning and communication on gender justice within Oxfam GB. This involves the development of gender learning tools and methodologies, the delivery of training and awareness raising, and the promotion of effective communication on gender justice within Oxfam GB. 

Prior to joining Oxfam, Jemma worked in the UK providing domestic and sexual violence support to women, as well as to services including NGOs, local authorities, the police, probation and the prison service, before becoming a trainer and volunteer coordinator working with men serving custodial sentences. 

Jemma has a degree in International Development and Politics and an MA in Development and Gender, both from the University of Leeds.
