Imogen leads Oxfam GB's work with Youth as Active Citizens in Gender Justice initiatives, implementing the Youth strategy and managing programme development and design processes. She promotes youth leadership in programming and campaigns on Women's Economic Empowerment, Violence Against Women & Girls, Women's Political Participation, and Conflict & Fragility.
At Oxfam, she has worked in programme management, development and learning posts for Oxfam GB programme initiatives on Women's Economic Empowerment (including Women's Economic Empowerment and Care, Gendered Enterprise and Markets and Researching Women's Collective Action in Agricultural Markets) and Youth Active Citizenship (including My Rights, My Voice and Empower Youth for Work).
She has previously worked as a campaigner for the Health and Education For All and Robin Hood Tax Campaigns. Prior to this, she worked on youth and campaign initiatives for Christian Aid and the DFID Platform2 Programme. She specialises in participatory and youth-led programme processes, and social norms relating to youth and gender equality. Imogen has an MA in Gender and International Development and a particular interest in gender-based violence and sexual & reproductive rights.
