Office Location: Oxford, UK

Annabel is responsible for overseeing the thematic area of conflict and fragility across Oxfam GB.  As part of this role, she leads the thematic unit which focusses on the provision of technical support to country teams and research and development initiatives to support programme quality and shape wider thinking on fragility and conflict across the sector.

Before joining OGB, Annabel worked with Oxfam Novib in Afghanistan overseeing their portfolio of development programmes managing a wide range of programmes around conflict transformation, peace building, women's empowerment, youth agency, resilience and local governance. Prior to that she worked with a number of different INGOs in Afghanistan, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Haiti and the UK supporting programme implementation and programme design. Having started her career working in emergency response, she has a good understanding of the all important link between humanitarian and longer term development work.
