Global Impact Evaluation Adviser


Office Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Andrew is a Global Impact Evaluation Adviser at Oxfam GB. He provides specialist advice on tools, methods and process for undertaking rigorous impact evaluation on Oxfam's projects. He is currently working on a range of focused evaluations of a random sample of Oxfam's Livelihoods projects in order to capture and communicate our effectiveness as an organization and promote effective learning.

Andrew previously worked as a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Adviser with Danya International in Kenya, as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with Malaria Consortium in Kampala, Uganda, and as Senior Data Analyst with the American Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where he was involved in randomized control trials on health.

Andrew graduated with Msc. in Population Based Field Epidemiology from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and Msc. in Medical Statistics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He also holds a Bsc. in Forestry and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Moi University in Kenya. He is a member of the Kenya Evaluation Society and Africa Evaluation Society.
