Alexia leads the measuring resilience stream for OGB developing new tools and methods for measuring resilience capacities. She works primarily on impact evaluation design and implementation. Alexia is particularly interested in better taking into account different power dimensions and their intersections in impact evaluations (including intra-household dynamics).
Prior to joining Oxfam in January 2017, Alexia worked with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) on research projects on food safety and food security in Kenya, Benin and Burkina Faso. Alexia previously worked with the Experimental Fund for Youth in the French Ministry, on qualitative and quantitative impact evaluations on youth transition, and on drawing recommendations for policy makers, and with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), on the implementation of a randomised controlled trial on a program supporting small businesses
and income generating activities in Morocco. Alexia holds a Masters' degree in economics and a Masters' degree in statistics.
