Martha Mensah is the Programme Officer, Private Sector and Secured Livelihoods, based in Accra, Ghana. She leads the implementation of Oxfam's Behind the Brands and System Innovation Women Economic Empowerment (SIWEE) initiatives in Ghana. In her 6 years' experience in development work, Martha worked with CARE International as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant on the Agricultural and Natural Resource project as well as USAID funded 'Partnership for Accountable Governance in Education Project' (PAGE). She also had the opportunity to work with Voluntary Services Overseas on the Cocoa Life Project as a Programme Officer where she directly supervised implementation of the project within 2 districts in the Eastern region of Ghana. Martha later worked with Fairtrade Africa as the National Technical Assistant on the 'Equity Project' where she supervised small producer and Hired labour organizations to implement their projects in Crafts and Citrus production. She holds a Master's Degree in International relations.
