Durga joined the Oxfam Sierra Leone programme in December 2014 as Advocacy & Campaigns Coordinator for the Freetown Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Consortium. Over the last 5 years, she has had the opportunity to work in different sectors like WASH, food security and Disaster Risk Reduction in Asia and Africa. Durga's experience includes working in humanitarian crisis, recovery and development programmes. Prior to joining Oxfam GB, she was working with CARE International as Change Analyst and Capacity Building Specialist for a food security programme in Nepal that focused
in empowering civil society organizations through right based approach. Durga holds Masters degree in Humanities from the University of North Bengal, India.
