Dr Md Khalid Hossain is the Economic Justice Resilience Programme Manager in Oxfam in Bangladesh. He has overall responsibility to coordinate rural, urban, private sector linkage, youth empowerment and water governance programming of Oxfam in Bangladesh, with a focus on building resilience and addressing injustice. He has received a Doctor of Philosophy degree (focusing on climate change adaptation and international business nexus) from RMIT University, Australia as an Australian Leadership Award scholar; Master of Diplomacy and Trade degree from Monash University, Australia as an
Australian Development Scholarship scholar; and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. In his previous roles, he worked as a Research Officer at the Bangladesh Tariff Commission under the Ministry of Commerce, Policy Officer and Campaign Coordinator at Oxfam GB - Bangladesh Programme and Project Coordinator (Climate Change Unit) and Head of Climate Change Programmes at the Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB).
