Emma Feeny

Drought global policy adviser


Office Location: Oxford, UK

Emma is a policy adviser working on the drought crisis in the Horn of Africa and continuing impacts of the 2015-16 El Niño. She previously worked for the SWIFT Consortium, led by Oxfam's Global Humanitarian Team.

Emma has held a range of policy and research communications roles at the University of Oxford's Department of International Development, within Oxfam's UK Poverty Programme, and at the UN World Food Programme in Rome. As a journalist, she worked for media organisations including Reuters and the Financial Times.

Emma holds an MA from SOAS in the Social Anthropology of Development.
