Raising Voices Officer

Office Location: Oxford, UK

Amy is the Raising Voices Officer with Oxfam UK Programme team. Her role is to communicate issues affecting people in poverty in UK to a wider audience and empower people to speak out, get their voices heard and their issues on the table. She also looks after other areas of communication for the UK programme.

Amy joined Oxfam after several years as a BBC journalist, working on national radio and television news programmes, including Radio 4, Radio 5Live and the Newschannel. Much of the programming she worked on involved bringing the public directly into contact with policy makers.
