Tim Gore is the Head of Policy, Advocacy and Research for Oxfam International's campaigning on food and hunger, smallholder agriculture, land rights and climate change. He was previously the Oxfam International policy lead on climate change, and prior to that on EU climate and food policy. He has been based with Oxfam in the EU Advocacy Office in Brussels, Belgium; at Oxfam GB Head Quarters in Oxford, UK; in the UN liaison office in New York, USA; and is currently working from the Oxfam Sweden office in Stockholm.
Before joining Oxfam, Tim held policy and co-ordination roles with Climate Action Network Europe in Brussels, Belgium and with the Fabian Society think-tank in London, UK. He is a regular public speaker and commentator on issues related to food and hunger, land and climate change in print and broadcast international media. Tim holds a first class BA degree in Politics with International Studies from the University of Warwick, UK, and a distinguished MA in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe, in Bruges, Belgium.
