Over the last twelve years, Sitan has worked as a Youth Programme Manager for several International NGOs. She currently works as the My Rights, My Voice Programme Coordinator in Mali, an Oxfam programme focused on youth rights to education and sexual and reproductive health services. She has previously undertaken roles as a Child Protection Specialist on early/child marriage and female genital cutting with UNICEF, a Fundraising and Donor Contracts
Manager with WaterAid and a Rights of the Child Specialist with Plan International.
Sitan specialises in programme operational and financial management (including designing, planning and monitoring), fundraising and grant management, and joint programme and partnership management involving multiple actors across multiple sectors. She also specialises in human rights promotion, particularly on youth rights, including education citizenship, sexual and reproductive health, youth empowerment and participation and protection of young people.
Sitan has strong organizational skills, facilitative leadership competencies and in-depth knowledge of results-based management, financial management, grants acquisition and management and knowledge management. She holds a Master's Diploma of Higher Studies in Public Law.
