Our blog is a hub for news, analysis and debate written by, and for, development and humanitarian professionals both inside and outside of Oxfam.
Mora joined Oxfam in 2011 to work with the UK Poverty Programme (UKPP) as a Campaign and Communications Manager, developing Oxfam's first campaigning work around UK poverty and inequality. She is now a Commissioning Editor in the Communications Team at Oxfam, responsible for story content for marketing, campaigns, media and fundraising needs.
Mora originally trained to work in international development as an anthropologist, working in South and South East Asia on development and research programmes with a focus on women's and indigenous rights. But her overseas experiences stirred an ambition to work in campaigning journalism, and from 2004-2011 Mora worked for the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky 1 on a range of mainly current affairs programmes like Panorama, This World and Unreported World. She is now focusing on creating content for Oxfam's new global campaign on Inequality.
