Liesbeth Unger

Liesbeth Unger is the co-author of the Unilever Supply Chain research report and was the technical advisor for the project.

Liesbeth is founder of Human Rights@Work, a consultancy on human rights and business. She provides advice and training to companies, governments and NGOs.

Liesbeth previously worked for the ILO in Asia and for Oxfam Novib in the Netherlands and as an international human rights lawyer has gained extensive experience in the fields of CSR and human rights, often in a multi-stakeholder context.

In 2005 she was involved in the Oxfam-Unilever study Exploring the links between international business and poverty reduction in Indonesia. She is also the author of the VBDO (Dutch association of sustainable investors) publication Take a Closer Look, current practices of Dutch business on human rights.
