Josephine leads Oxfam's UK policy and advocacy on humanitarian crises and conflict in Africa. She has a particular focus on South Sudan as well as DRC, Somalia and Sudan.
Josephine previously worked as Senior Policy Officer at EPLO, a Brussels-based network of NGOs working on conflict prevention and peace building. In this position she led EPLO's policy work on EU foreign, security, trade and investment policy and developed EPLO's advocacy in EU Member States. Prior to joining EPLO, Josephine held positions at the European Coalition for Corporate Justice, the German Institute for Human Rights and UNRWA.
Josephine holds a BA from the University of Maastricht and an MA in Human Rights from the University of Essex.
