Franziska is Research Assistant in the research team at Oxfam GB. She supports the team through quantitative research. Her background is in Political Science and Social Policy, with an emphasis on qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform decision-making. Franziska has a particular interest in monitoring and evaluation. In particular, she has studied how innovative evaluation designs can help understand and improve public services.
Before joining Oxfam, Franziska worked as Policy Officer at the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative, working with a range of countries and international organizations in establishing multidimensional poverty measures. She holds two MSc degrees from the University of Oxford, a Bachelor degree from the Free University of Berlin including a stint at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and is fluent in German, French, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish.
