In June 2008 we developed a proposal to deliver a small project on the informal economy, in dialogue with our partners at Oxfam. The project was based on the Community Pride model of a School of Participation with an initial phase of research and recruitment, followed by a series of group work sessions to explore the issues identified through the research. These were used to work with participants to identify priorities, to explore power relations and to develop recommendations and actions for change on the personal, local/regional and national levels.
