Improving Programme Design with Power Analysis Tools: Practical Application of the Power Cube within Oxfam GB Programme Design in Guatemala
Overview
This short case study illustrates a deliberate use of power analysis using the Power Cube to inform and strengthen programme design, based on a programme to strengthen indigenous young women’s leadership in Guatemala. The context meant that the programme was quite a sensitive one, needing careful assessment of options. The case shows the process that was involved and the new approach to achieving outcomes that was identified as a result.
