Overview

The ReGender project was a key part of Oxfam’s UK Poverty Programme. It worked with local communities, voluntary organisations and local, regional and national governments to build a greater understanding of gender inequality and differences in the UK, particularly in the field of regeneration. This final evaluation looks at the impact of the project over the last three years (between 2005 and 2008), focusing primarily on the second phase of work. It explores how effective the project has been; what progress has been made; and what more needs to be done in the future to promote awareness of gender inequality and gender differences in the regeneration sector.
