Overview

Humanitarian practitioners identify trust in emergency teams as one of the most important factors in launching timely and effective emergency responses.

The Building Trust Toolkit can be used throughout the cycle of an emergency response and features: a Trust Index, to assess and measure trust within diverse teams and 10 trust-building tools that can be selected based on the identified team needs to build trust.

This book is an abridged version of Building Trust in Diverse Teams: The Toolkit for Emergency Response.

You can use this handbook together with the Building Trust in Diverse Teams toolkit, which provide further reading, references and more exercises for the development of trust in a team.
