    My Rights My Voice

    My Rights, My Voice aims to engage marginalised children and youth, especially girls and young women, as active citizens in their rights to health and education services.

    Open information and aid transparency

    We are committed to being transparent in our work and accountable to our key stakeholders, in particular people living in poverty. We share information with people living in poverty, partner organisations, and the general public, and we are accountable to our staff, volunteers, supporters, donors, suppliers and host governments.

    Project effectiveness reviews

    Oxfam Project Effectiveness Reviews are rigorous evaluations of our projects across six thematic areas: humanitarian response; adaptation and risk reduction (ARR); livelihood enhancement; women's empowerment; citizen voice; and policy influencing.

    Protection

    In crisis situations and environments where there is a lack of law and order, we try to improve the safety of civilians in the face of violence, coercion and deliberate deprivation.

    Public health in emergencies

    In emergencies, Oxfam's public health teams ensure that the water and sanitation facilities we deliver are used properly to prevent the spread of disease.

    Raising Her Voice

    In order for millions more women to gain power over their lives and overcome the barriers that keep them in poverty we need to challenge often deeply entrenched beliefs that women are fundamentally of less social, economic and political value than men.
