Deborah is the Deputy Head of Oxfam GB's Research Team and works on issues related to economic and social justice. Her current work involves data analysis, constructing indices and analysing quantitative and qualitative data, particularly in the context of inequality.
Prior to joining Oxfam GB in October 2013, Deborah was the Research Manager at Transparency International, responsible for the global corruption measurement tools, including the Corruption Perceptions Index. She was an ODI fellow in Lesotho between 2009 and 2011 and before that worked for three years as a commercial analyst at BP. Deborah holds a BA in Economics and Business management from Newcastle University and an MA in Economics from the
University of British Colombia in Canada.
