Arpaporn, known as Tata, is the regional research coordinator for Oxfam GB's Asia region. Her current role is to coordinate, overlook, and advise on research and research-related activities for country programmes in Asia.
Prior to joining Oxfam, Tata was an academic fellow at UN Development Programme (UNDP) Asia-Pacific. She then worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Viet Nam as a gender and information officer. She has also worked as a lecturer and researcher at University of Chang Mai, Thailand, in the Department of Women's Studies.
She recently completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge, where her research focused on gender, agriculture and trade policy.
