Sloane Hamilton

Ethical Trade Adviser

Office Location: Oxford, UK

Sloane is a member of Oxfam GB's Ethical Trade Team, which works to improve working conditions around the world by providing advice on labour standards best-practice to British and multi-national businesses.

Sloane participates in the Ethical Trading Initiative's NGO Caucus (of which Oxfam GB is a founding member) as well as the Oxfam International Labour Rights Team and the Oxfam International Fair Trade Working Group.

Her work explores the linkages between working conditions in global supply chains and poverty and she is also a point person for Fair Trade policy within Oxfam GB. She has a growing interest in working conditions in agricultural supply chains. Previously, Sloane completed an MA in Social Anthropology with Development at Edinburgh University.
