Eitan is a civil society programme officer, managing work with Israeli-based partners. Since joining Oxfam GB in the Jerusalem office in 2008, he has designed a strategy for working with civil society, which entails many advocacy components and campaign activities.
Prior to joining Oxfam GB, he worked for a variety of civil society organisations, including the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, Zochrot, the Israel-Palestine Centre for Research and Information, and the ADAM Institute for Democracy and Peace. He has also worked as a teacher in a democratic school, and with the Centre of Educational Technology on curriculum
design.
Eitan holds a BA in Philosophy, and an MA in History and Philosophy of Education from the University of Tel-Aviv. Eitan has published both blogs and podcasts, highlighting Oxfam's work in the region.
