Zvidzai is the regional humanitarian coordinator for Oxfam GB's Horn, Central and East Africa region. He has almost 20 years' experience in relief and development practice in the areas of food security and livelihoods, health, WASH, protection, education, participatory development, civil society empowerment for policy influence and self-development, gender, social mobilisation, micro-finance and income generation for the rural poor and vulnerable groups, and linking grassroots experience to policy. He has managed complex multi-sectoral programmes in Sudan and Kenya, and worked in fifteen countries affected by conflict and natural disaster.

Prior to joining Oxfam, Zvidzai worked for a variety of NGOs, including World Vision as the deputy relief director, for ActionAid International as the international conflict and emergencies adviser, HelpAge International as the emergency manager for Africa, and as the head of mission for the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
