Will Martindale joined Oxfam in October 2012 as a policy adviser for the financial sector, working with investors, the banking community and international finance institutions to identify, support and promote policy and practice which has a demonstrable impact on development.
Will has a background in banking, joining JPMorgan's graduate programme in June 2004. Will supported a web-based trading platform for JPMorgan's clients to manage a leveraged portfolio of credit default swaps in New York from 2007 - 2009.
In January 2010, Will managed Rt Hon Margaret Hodge MP's general election campaign in the constituency of Barking. In the summer of 2010, Will volunteered as a welfare manager for Rwanda Aid, an NGO based in Cyangugu on the Rwanda/Congo border.
In September 2010, Will joined French bank, BNP Paribas, as a business manager for their credit trading desk.
Will read Maths at King's College London and has a Masters in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics.
