Tim Gore

Tim leads the development of Oxfam GB's advocacy and research on international climate change policy, and heads the Oxfam GB policy-lobby team at the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change). His particular areas of expertise include the UNFCCC negotiations, adaptation to climate change, climate finance, carbon markets and the climate change policy and politics of the European Union.

Tim was previously based in Brussels, Belgium, where he led Oxfam GB's European advocacy on climate change, food and agriculture policy in the lead-up to the Copenhagen climate conference. Prior to joining Oxfam GB, Tim worked at Climate Action Network-Europe, where he co-ordinated work on the EU Climate and Energy Package, with a particular focus on the EU Emissions Trading Scheme directive.

Tim holds a first class honours BA in International Politics from the University of Warwick, UK, and a distinguished MA in European politics from the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium.
