Penny leads Oxfam GB's Private Sector Advocacy Team, which works to influence companies' policies and practices, and the regulatory environment within which business operates, in support of poverty reduction. Previously, Penny played a leading role in the Make Trade Fair Campaign as a Trade Policy Adviser.
She has 20 years experience of policy work on agriculture, trade, development and private sector issues in the civil society and public policy sectors. Penny holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Politics from Bristol University and an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford.
