Sarah Lumsdon
Strategic Project Manager, Humanitarian Management

Sarah has twelve years experience of managing a variety of humanitarian programmes, ten of these with Oxfam GB. She has managed programmes in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia, Sudan, Indonesia and Kenya, undertaken Regional Humanitarian Coordination in Southern Africa, based in Pretoria, and in Eastern/Horn of Africa based in Kenya. She has also advised on Security in Afghanistan and from HQ.
Sarah is currently working on Humanitarian Management Development, focusing on developing core humanitarian skills, as well as management and leadership skills for Oxfam GB. In addition to the above, she leads the CBHA (Consortium of British Humanitarian Agencies) Staff Development programme, represents Oxfam GB on the IASC (Inter-Agency Standing Committee) sub-group for preparedness and response, represents Oxfam GB on the Oxfam International Emergency Managers Network and interacts with a variety
of People in Aid and ELRHA (Enhanced Learning and Research for Humanitarian Assistance).
