Communications Assistant, Policy & Practice Communications Team

Ian McClelland



Ian joined Oxfam GB in 2009 and has experience in website management, copywriting and editing, video production, social media, promotion, events and research.

He is among those responsible for managing the Policy & Practice website: engaging our audiences; developing new content; and monitoring and evaluating our success.

Prior to working at Oxfam GB, Ian worked at Oxfam International in internal communications. He has also spent time as a research intern at the World Health Organization.



Ian holds a BSc in Disaster Management and Technology from the University of Birmingham and an MSc in Globalisation and Development from the University of Manchester.
