Margaret is a sustainability specialist, benefiting from 20 years of experience in programme design and management with different international organizations including IUCN, CARE, USAID, World vision, and Oxfam. She brings particular expertise in the fields of natural resource management, climate change adaptation, resilient development, gender and governance.
Margaret holds a Masters in Sustainability (Environment and Development) from University of Leeds in the UK and Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Makerere University in Uganda. She is the International Coordinator for a multi-country programme under the Africa Climate Change Resilience Alliance made of Oxfam GB, Save the Children International, CARE International, World Vision International and Overseas Development Institute. ACCRA operates globally and in Africa - Ethiopia, Uganda and Mozambique. She brings extensive experience in providing policy analysis and capacity enhancement
support within action-research programming in different contexts across Africa that contribute to international sustainable development frameworks and debate.
