Sarah joined Oxfam in 2011, and manages Oxfam GB's Women's Access to Justice in the Middle East and North Africa programme.
Prior to joining Oxfam, Sarah worked in the translation and interpretation field before joining the development sector. She worked with the International Planned Parenthood Federation - Arab World Regional Office, where she was a programme officer in charge of co-ordinating restricted and unrestricted programmes focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights, and as an acting advocacy and communication officer.
Sarah studied translation and interpretation, and holds a masters degree in Interpretation from the Saint Joseph's University in Beirut. She has been actively involved in several development associations focusing on community development and awareness-raising of human rights in Lebanon.
