Jane leads the governance, women in leadership, peace and programme quality teams in Oxfam in Myanmar. She has been working in Myanmar since 2012. Previously she led Oxfam in Tanzania's social justice programme, including designing and managing Chukua Hatua, a large, successful active citizenship programme, and Raising Her Voice.
Prior to joining Oxfam in 2007, Jane worked in the private sector on regeneration projects. She also worked for the Manchester Economic Development Agency, managing social inclusion programmes. She has worked in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Australia, the UK, Tanzania and Myanmar. Her experience is in governance and citizenship, women in leadership, socially inclusive economic development, fundraising, and project management.
Jane studied at the University of Bath and University of Leeds, and is a qualified PRINCE2 Project Manager. She has been a guest blogger on From Poverty to Power.
