Sloane Hamilton

Ethical Trade Adviser

Office Location: Oxford, UK

Sloane is the Ethical Trade Adviser, sitting within Oxfam's Ethical Trade Team which works to influence and enable companies to respect rights of workers in global supply chains. She participates in the Ethical Trading Initiative's NGO Caucus and provides feedback to ETI company members on their annual reports. She is the lead for work on Fair Trade, particularly, workers rights within certification schemes. Sloane also supports Oxfam's retail operations to purchase in line with Oxfam's values, and she sits on the ethical checking committee. 

Prior to joining Oxfam in 2008, Sloane completed an MA in Social Anthropology with Development at Edinburgh University.
