Ruth is UK Poverty Programme advocacy and parliamentary officer. She is key to UK poverty work on tax and inequality and government relations strategy into the 2015 election. 

She has a successful and varied professional background and a passion for poverty in the UK, having previously worked in a policy role for Church Action on Poverty, and as the campaign manager at British Cycling. 

Ruth also has experience of local government and most recently worked to support Baroness Newlove, the Victims' Commissioner.
