Claire Spoors is a policy adviser working on tax and inequality in the Oxfam GB Policy and Government Relations team.
Claire previously worked at Oxfam Australia in a number of policy areas including climate finance, anti-corruption in the extractive industries and international tax reform and on the coordination of Oxfam's engagement with the G20. She also established and led the Publish What You Pay Australia campaign for greater transparency and accountability in the Australian mining sector. Prior to that Claire worked on campaigns involving Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation and energy security at Global Witness.
Claire holds a Masters in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester and is currently undertaking a Masters of Laws degree at the University of London.
